His speech reminded me of the moment that shaped me. When I was about seven or eight years old, my mom and dad got divorced. After the divorce it shaped me into who I am today, but unlike Andrew Solomon it has made me a good person and at times a bad person. The divorce turned me into a very hard working person because I did not want to let my mom down like my father did. I was the oldest son so I would have to take the role as the man of the family. While becoming hard working sounds awesome it also shaped me into having a very bad anger issues. Yes, anger issues are not good but, like Andrew, I thank my dad because of what he did made me into the successful person I am today.
